The author begins with a five page concise overview of the history of magic mentioning the big names of Houdini, Thurston, etc. He describes different aspects of magic as a hobby. In between advice about performing, he reproducts some tricks from the Seven Circle magazine published in the 30'. The final 1/4 of the book is devoted to publicity and business practice ideas with many reproduction of the author's own publicity materials.Also you might find some of the material is dates 1967, most of it's still valid today
Mr. Walter Graham was a friend of The Owner, Dr. Bob.
Dr. Bob had a shop in Southern California. When Mr. Graham had shows in California, he sent his shows' stuff to The Magic Shop and prepared for shows.
For those, he sighed his autograph in this book, says "Best man Walter Graham"
This book is one of hte Dr. Bob's collections. It is autographed.
